See what a photo reveals
One tap names what is actually in the frame: precise location, faces, license plates, QR codes — and text a detector can identify, like a phone number, an email, a street address, an IBAN or a payment card. Numbers are checksum-verified, so an order number never gets called a credit card. Then cover it, strip the metadata, and share straight from the share sheet. Live Photos always export as stills here — motion frames can leak the very thing you just redacted.
Your shot's real story
Unshare reads the EXIF your camera actually wrote — camera, lens, aperture, shutter, ISO — and sets it under your photo. A missing field stays blank; it never invents a lens or a shutter speed.

Colors with names worth reading
A draggable glass palette lifts 3–6 dominant colors from your photo with exact proportions, each traceable to the pixels it came from. Every color is named twice — an English literary name, and a Chinese traditional color in pinyin and hanzi.

Creative exports keep the motion; the privacy path never does. And a journal page arranges itself from up to five photos.

What is Unshare?
Unshare (显影, “to develop a photograph”) develops what is already hidden inside your photos — the EXIF, the colors, the light — into shareable art: film cards, palettes, moment lines, journals. And before anything leaves your phone, its privacy kit shows what the photo would reveal.
Does Unshare upload my photos anywhere?
No. Everything runs on your iPhone — no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no servers. The single optional network call, historical weather, is off by default and sends only rounded coordinates and a date to the Open-Meteo public archive.
What are the Chinese traditional color names?
Centuries-old color words like Yanzhi 胭脂, Tianqing 天青, and Qinglian 青莲, shown in pinyin and hanzi alongside English literary names. Unshare's color tables are our own curated work.
Does Unshare invent camera data for the cards?
Never. Cards show only what the photo actually carries. A missing lens or shutter speed stays blank — real data or nothing.
Why does the Privacy Kit export Live Photos as stills?
A Live Photo's motion frames can contain the exact content you just blurred in the key frame, so the Privacy Kit exports stills only. Creative exports — cards, palettes, collages — can keep the motion.
Which languages does Unshare support?
English, Simplified Chinese (as 显影), Spanish, and Japanese. The app follows your iOS system language automatically.
